New York, New York

For a newcomer, and I would think for some or most natives, New York is an exciting place to live. Something is always going on! You never know who you may see walking down the street or WHAT you may see walking down the street.

One side theme of this blog will be to share some of my favorite sites, events, buildings, and more in New York City. I hope to build another blog for my out of town visitors that would answer some of their questions as they are planning trips to NYC.

I will also spotlight upcoming events in NYC.

Oct 6-7, Open House New York(OHNY)

Open House New York

If you have not taken part in this annual event, I highly recommend OHNY. Buildings, public spaces, art studios, and homes in all five boroughs, many that are not open to the public at any other time, are open free of charge during OHNY week-end. The full program guide to all the participating "houses" will be published in this Friday's (9/28/07) New York Times. You can also get the program from the website (After 9/28)

Check it out.
